Farm machinery fire at Senior - 18 December 2024

Shortly after 3:00 pm, approximately twenty CFS firefighters, supported by SA Police, responded to a farm machinery fire in Senior, located 31 km north of Bordertown in the state's Limestone Coast region.

Upon arrival, the firefighters, operating 6 trucks and 2 Farm Fire Units, worked on the scene for some time to extinguish any smouldering areas.

The fire caused an estimated $250,000 in damages, and the farm machinery was destroyed.
