House fire at Ceduna - 31 August 2024

At approximately 8:10 this morning, three CFS crews responded to a structure fire in Ceduna, on the far west coast of the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.

CFS firefighters arrived to find the single-story domestic dwelling fully involved in fire and no occupants present on site. Crews employed both offensive and defensive firefighting tactics to suppress and prevent any further spread of the fire. Firefighters will remain on site for some time to extinguish all hot spots and mop up the area.

Unfortunately, the house was destroyed with estimated losses of approximately $250,000.

SA Police and SA ambulance assisted firefighters on scene and Fire Cause have been notified.
