House fire at Nairne - 11 January 2026

Shortly after 3:00 pm, CFS volunteer firefighters responded to a house fire at Nairne in the Adelaide Hills.
Thirty five firefighters responded with 6 trucks to extinguish the fire, supported by SA Police, SA Ambulance Service and SA Power Networks.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters worked inside the house to prevent the fire from spreading to other rooms, significantly reducing damage.
All occupants were able to evacuate safely, with SA Ambulance paramedics treating them for smoke inhalation.
Damage is estimated at $100,000, with significant smoke and roof damage. Fire Investigators have been requested to attend.
