House fire in Andamooka - 31 May 2024
CFS crews supported by BHP Emergency Services have contained a house and shed fire, saving neighbouring properties including an additional house in Curila Court, Andamooka. Firefighters will remain on scene into this morning working to extinguish the blaze which has caused approximately $50,000 worth of damage to a house, shed and vehicles located on the property.
Smoke from this fire is blowing over the township and anyone in the area is being advised to take precaution especially if driving.
Fire cause is currently unknown. SA Police are also on scene supporting firefighters.
