Munno Para HazMat incident

Emergency Services were called to a HazMat incident at a premises on Wallaby Street at Munno Para at 11 o’clock on Saturday night.

On arrival CFS and MFS firefighters, including specialist CFS HazMat crews, found an unknown chemical at the property. Crews tested the substance and determined it was a combination of lavender oil and oven cleaner.

Three people were assessed by SA Ambulance crews, with one person being treated on scene for skin irritation.

Firefighters inspected the property and confirmed no chemicals had been spilled.

The three CFS crews and one MFS crew were on scene for approximately one hour, supported by SA Ambulance Service and SA Police.
