Structure fire at Two Wells - 26 October 2024

Five fire trucks carrying approximately 25 volunteer firefighters responded to numerous calls to Triple O to attend a structure fire at Two Wells on the Adelaide Plains, north of the city.

Upon arrival, volunteers found a transportable home fully involved in fire. The fire was spreading to a family vehicle and a shed containing solar panel battery chargers.

The home’s occupants were not inside the property at the time firefighters arrived, however one person required transportation to hospital by SA Ambulance Service for precautionary purposes.

Firefighters using breathing apparatus took 90 minutes to control the blaze but, unfortunately, the family home and vehicle were destroyed. The adjoining shed was saved.

The estimated damage cost is approximately $240,000.

Fire Investigators will review the cause of the incident.
