Tractor fire in Wandearah - 22 October 2024
CFS crews have prevented a potential Hazardous Materials incident developing from a tractor fire after the tractor conducting spraying caught alight on a rural property at Wandearah, in the State’s Mid North. The quick response from crews contained the fire before it extended to the sprayer and therefore prevented the spread of potentially toxic chemicals.
The tractor was a total loss with an estimated damage amount of $100,000. The cause of the fire is unknown.
