House fire at Northern Heights, Murray Bridge - 28 August 2024
At 1:30am, 20 Country Fire Service crew on five appliances attended a fire in a home located on Mannum Road at Northern Heights, Murray Bridge, on the western side of the Murray River.
Metropolitan Fire Service, SA Police and SA Ambulance personnel were also in attendance.
Upon arrival at the scene, CFS personnel found the laundry at the rear of the single-storey home involved in fire.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the remainder of the structure. Nobody was in the property at the time of the fire and crews are now making the property safe. Damage to the property is estimated at approximately $75,000. Fire Cause are investigating.
