Shed fire in Glossop - 6 January 2025

Quick work from 5 CFS crews supported by 2 MFS crews has contained a fire impacting multiple sheds on a property in Glossop, saving the resident's nearby house from catching alight. 

The fire had impacted 3 to 4 small sheds when firefighters arrived on scene at approximately 11:30pm. The sheds contained a number of vehicles and miscellaneous items, with the estimated damage amount of the sheds and contents being $100,000. There is also some smoke and radiant heat damage to the exterior of the nearby house. 

The resident was in the house when the fire started. SA Police and SA Ambulance are on scene supporting firefighters. The cause of this fire is currently unknown and fire cause have been notified.
