$500,000 battery store fire at Mannum - 29 April 2023
A structure fire at a battery store in Mannum has caused an estimated $500,000 worth of damage for the local business.
After being alerted to the blaze at around 11.00 pm last night, 65 firefighters from both CFS and MFS worked to contain the flames to the building, saving neighbouring properties.
Thankfully, no one was in the property when the fire broke out and there have been no injuries recorded from the incident. SA Ambulance and SA Police are also on scene as a precaution.
CFS will remain on scene into the early hours of the morning and fire cause will attend the incident later in the morning.
