Garage fire at Willow Creek - 3 April 2025

Around 1:40 pm, CFS crews were called to a garage fire at Willow Creek in the state’s Fleurieu Peninsula.

Twenty CFS firefighters on approximately 6 trucks attended the fire in a joint response with the Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS).

The fire caused an estimated $50,000 in damages. However, thanks to the prompt response of firefighters, the spread was contained to the garage and did not spread to the house, preventing a higher cost.
