House Fire at Mount Bryan - 28 May 2025

Five CFS trucks with approximately 35 firefighters have contained a fire from spreading to neighbouring properties at Mount Bryan, in the mid north of South Australia.

The fire, which was called in to triple 0 by the resident at approximately 6.45 pm, has completely engulfed the home causing the roof to collapse. The house is a total loss with the estimated damage being $400,000. 

The resident was able to leave the property safely and no injuries have been recorded at this time. Firefighters have extinguished the fire and will remain on scene until the area is deemed safe. 

SA Police and SA Power Networks were on scene supporting firefighters. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, fire investigators will attend in the morning.
