Shed fire at Woodside - 9 April 2025

Shortly after midnight, CFS firefighters responded to a shed fire at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills.

A total of 20 CFS firefighters and 5 trucks, supported by SA Police and SA Ambulance Service, worked to contain the fire to the shed.

Thanks to their quick and skilled response, firefighters prevented it from spreading to the house and nearby properties.

Crews will remain on scene for some time, using thermal imaging cameras to check for hot spots and extinguish any smouldering areas.

Unfortunately, the shed was destroyed and the contents, including a car and caravan, were lost.

Damage has been estimated at $120,000, and Fire Investigators have been called to the scene.
