House fire in Clare - 5 June 2024
CFS crews arrived on scene at approximately 12:30 am this morning to fire having engulfed one half of a duplex. Firefighters managed to contain the fire before it spread to the other half of the duplex however, it has received smoke and water damage. The estimated damage value for both properties is $300,000. Crews have now extinguished the fire and remain on scene mopping up and ensuring it is safe.
Multiple occupants were in the duplex when the fire started. One has been rushed to hospital while the others haven’t recorded any injuries at this stage.
Fire cause is currently unknown and Fire Investigators will attend the property later this morning.
