Shed fire at Cambrai - 29 March 2026
Around 4pm, approximately 20 CFS volunteer firefighters on 4 trucks responded to a shed fire at Cambrai, north of Mannum, in the Murraylands.
On arrival, crews found 3 large adjoining sheds engulfed in fire.
Firefighters, with the support of 2 bulk water carriers, contained the fire to the sheds and prevented the fire from spreading to the house on the property.
Unfortunately, all 3 sheds were completely destroyed with damages estimated at $100,000.
SA Police and SA Ambulance provided support on scene. One person was treated on scene by SA Ambulance and another transported for smoke inhalation.
Fire Investigators have been notified and crews will remain on scene to monitor for hotspots and ensure the fire is completely extinguished.
