Building fire at Kalka - 16 December 2023
A vacant clinic building located in Kalka in the APY Lands has been engulfed by flames leaving the property totally destroyed.
A CFS crew from the Pip-Kalka brigade will remain on scene overnight to cool fire and protect surrounding buildings. The total estimated damage cost is $400,000.
No injuries are reported and fire investigators have been advised.
