Electrical Line Fuse in One Tree Hill - 15 January 2024

A fuse from an electrical line containing toxic liquid has been found out the front of the One Tree Hill CFS Station, North of Adelaide.

The substance was found by a local firefighter who reported the vial to emergency services and was assessed by SA Ambulance as a precaution.

CFS crews have liaised with Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Operators to identify the substance within the vial and have work with appropriate authorities for its removal.

SA CFS urges the community to report any hazardous materials to 000 and not to move any unknown substances.
