Mannum shed fire - 13 April 2024
CFS crews were called to a structure fire at a property in Mannum, approximately 84 km to the east of Adelaide.
Approximately twenty-eight firefighters are attending the scene with seven CFS fire trucks. Crews are being supported by SA Police.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find the live-in shed engulfed by fire. All occupants have been accounted for; however defensive strategies are being used to effectively prevent the fire spreading from the shed and have saved nearby assets. Crews will remain on site until it can be rendered safe.
No cause has been identified and Fire Investigators have been notified. Losses have been estimated at $200,000.
