Multiple structure fire at Mannum - 16 July 2024
CFS crews have stopped a fire from extending to a car and carport after multiple structures caught alight on a property at Purnong Road in Mannum, located on the Murray River.
The fire had completely engulfed the house when firefighters arrived and extended to other structures on the property including a transportable building, shed, motorhome and several trailers. The estimated damage amount is $800,000.
Residents were not home when the fire started.
Several battery storage units and solar panels have been found on the property. Hazardous Material specialists have investigated and precautions are in place.
Road closures are in place, if in the area please drive to the conditions.
SA Police and SA Ambulance are currently on scene to support. Fire Cause investigators have been requested.
