Structure fire at Aldinga Beach - 14 February 2024

A fire believed to have been started in a bedroom, has completely engulfed a single story home at Stirling Crescent in Aldinga Beach.

All occupants were quick to vacate the house and raise the alarm with emergency services just after 2.30 am this morning. Five CFS trucks with approximately 25 firefighters are now on scene working to extinguish the blaze.

At this stage the house looks to be a total loss with an estimated damage cost of between $300,000 and $400,000.

SA Police are also on scene and SA Ambulance has been requested. The cause is currently unknown and fire cause have been notified.
