Virginia house fire - 22 July 2024
At 1:30 pm, CFS crews were alerted to a house fire in the market gardens district of Virginia, north of Adelaide. Six trucks, including two bulk water carriers and two MFS crews, arrived to find the weatherboard home fully engulfed in flames. CFS Hazmat specialists were also called in to conduct atmospheric monitoring and ensure those living in the area were not exposed to any harmful chemicals. Thankfully, no one was injured and fire investigators are yet to determine the cause of the $80,000 blaze.
