Structure fire at Paringa - 21 September 2026

At approximately 2:15 pm, CFS firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire at Paringa in the Riverland.

Two CFS trucks and approximately 8 firefighters attended the incident, supported by the SA Metropolitan Fire Service, SA Police and SA Ambulance Service.

Firefighters contained the fire, however smoke damage occurred throughout the structure. The damage is estimated at $50,000.

Paramedics treated occupants at the scene for smoke inhalation.
