House fire at Happy Valley - 26 September 2026

At around 7.30pm this evening, CFS and SA Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) firefighters attended a structure fire at Happy Valley in Adelaide’s southern suburbs.

Approximately 30 firefighters on 2 CFS and 3 MFS trucks attended the fire which started in the wardrobe of a single storey home. 

Thanks to their quick and skilled response, firefighters in breathing apparatus prevented the fire from spreading beyond the wardrobe and bedroom and saved the remainder of the home. 

All occupants home at the time of the fire safely self-evacuated and no injuries were reported. 

SA Ambulance and SA Police provided support on scene and Fire Investigators will attend.
