$150,000 - $200,000 structure fire in Bridgewater - 29 June 2023
At approximately 3.30am, CFS was alerted to a structure fire starting in the roof of a home at Wattle Street in Bridgewater. 6 trucks with around 40 volunteers from nearby brigades have arrived on scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters have made entry into the home, and are currently accessing the ceiling space to extinguish the blaze. The damage bill is estimated between $150,000 - $200,000.
Thankfully, the home was vacant due to renovations. SA Police and SA Ambulance are also currently on scene to support. The cause is currently unknown and fire cause investigators have been called to the scene.
