$200,000 structure fire at Poonindie
At approximately 1.30 pm this afternoon, 15 CFS firefighters on 4 trucks from the Lincoln and North Shields brigades were joined by Farm Fire Units, at a structure fire on Natasha Drive in Poonindie.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze before complete loss of structure occurred.
Fire and smoke damage can be seen within the main premises and the adjoining carport has collapsed, equating to an estimated loss of $200,000 - $250,000.
Thankfully, no residents were home at the time. A fire cause investigator has been called to the scene.
