$70,000 structure fire at Mannum - 08 January 2023

Shortly after 9:43pm this evening, CFS crews were called to a structure fire on King George Street, Mannum.

Six CFS trucks, supported by Two MFS trucks arrived on scene to find a shed at the rear of the property fully involved with flames. 

Firefighters contained the fire before it spread to nearby properties, however the shed and car inside, suffered extensive damage. No one was present at the time of the fire.

Estimated losses are in excess of $70,000.

The cause is yet to be determined and Fire Cause Investigators will be attending the scene in the morning.
