Liquid Spill on the Mallee Highway, Lameroo - 23 December 2022
CFS were called to attend a large liquid spill on the Mallee Highway, Lameroo in the State’s Murray Mallee Region at 3.40pm today.
Five CFS trucks and one CFS Hazmat crew attended.
The spill which was identified as being approximately 2000 litres of zinc and manganese trace elements was contained.
No injuries were reported and crews remained at the incident for clean-up of the spill and traffic management of the immediate vicinity for three hours until the area was made safe for the public.
