Structure fire at Milang - 18 June 2026
This morning, around 25 CFS volunteer firefighters on 5 trucks responded to reports of a structure fire at Milang, near Goolwa.
On arrival, crews found the single-storey home well involved in fire.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus successfully prevented the fire from spreading throughout the entire house and to neighbouring properties.
Damages are estimated around $200,000 and Fire Investigators will attend.
Crews will remain on scene for some time this morning to mop up and monitor for smouldering areas.
SA Police, SA Ambulance, and SA Power Networks provided support on scene.
